St Patrick's Day Event 2026 for live server

Starts Feb 17 runs through to March 17, 2026

The duration of this event changes things.  On Beta there were only 21 daily tasks where live server will have 28.

The event currency management will also be different.

You get 14,450 pots of gold (event currency) if you login daily and complete all the challenges.  You can expect 250-500 more from incidents.  So expect slightly less than 15k pots of gold without buying more.

It's best to decide on strategy prior to event start.

Strategy 1:

Event progress on the prize line.

Strategy 2:

Get four level two Loaf Houses for perpetual ascended goldsmith

Strategy 3:

avoid burnout, do the quests passively as you collect your city, only use lv1 managers and open all boxes at the competition of each town/banquet to maximize event shop currency.  Probably spend it on ascended selection kits or allies fragments

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ok so let's explain

Strategy 1:

Advance the progress bar.  If you buy event pass you will want to use this strategy.  Due to the changes outlined in this post the goal is to reach 575 progress which is 575 completed tasks.  That means doing 18 towns and some of the 19th town.  If you do more tasks on the first tutorial town instead of jumping to town 2 when it's available you won't need to do the 19th.

You can also open all boxes 2-3 times so be strategic and do that when the clover kit is one of the available prizes.

You get main event building which is not great but ok and it makes it's own silver and gold upgrades.

You get the eternal market fragments.

Ascended druid temple

Platinum Celtic Goldsmith

a level two Loaf House, maybe one lv2 and one lv1 if you have enough pots

Strategy 2:

Conserve pots to use on open all boxes (1400 pots) option.  This means you will have to complete 8 towns but you have lots of time to do that.  You can also expect to get 450-500 shop currency so it's really not a bad option if there are things in the shop you want.  The biggest advantage to this strategy is you do not have to babysit your town 24/7 or set alarms.  Before deciding on this strategy make sure your city can support the population cost of four Loaf Houses.

You will not be able to complete Rival challenges using this strategy.

General Event Strategy:

Quests have been changed and we do not have an updated list at this time for the rush, daily or rival quests.

Rivals:

Starts on day 2 and has 26 quests.  One quest will unlock every day so on day 27 of this event all rival quests will be unlocked.  What that means is you can game the system a little by trying to complete some of the quests at the same time.

So on Beta rival quest 2 was recruit x current age units AND have a Manager at lv 5.

quest 3 was complete 10 tasks AND win X fights

quest 4 was buy 5 FP AND have a Manager at lv 5

So if you had a festive overseer at lv5 and didn't complete your town until both quest 2 and 4 were completed then that can save you a lot of pots or special items.  Pots saved can be used on end of town chests.

Do not use special items until required to during Rival challenges.  Even doing this you will need to purchase one time warp that costs 400 pots.

The free promotion for managers should only be used when it requires you to upgrade a manager to lv5 which it will do about three times in this event.

As we have highlighted in this post there is a quest that requires 24hr productions of a previous age production building.  So for people in SASH that means 26 finish supply items if you only have one in city.

Once again the Rival asks you to donate previous age goods to treasury which is fine unless you're in Iron Age.  You cannot donate Bronze Age goods to treasury so you cannot complete this quest.

People going for gold league will be hiring higher level managers.  For those people we'd recommend the festival overseer be one level above shipyard if you are only doing one upgrade.

For all players not going for gold league then you should be judicial when using your pots.

Festive Overseer             Level 1 = 20  (+25% ), Level 2 = 40  (+50% ), Level 3 = 80  (+65% ), Level 4 = 150  (+100% ), Level 5 = 300  (+175% )

Shipyard Supervisor        Level 1 = 20  (+25% ), Level 2 = 40  (+50% ), Level 3 = 80  (+30% ), Level 4 = 150  (+50% ), Level 5 = 300  (+150% )

Hat factory supervisor   Level 1 = 10  (+10% ), Level 2 = 20  (+50% ), Level 3 = 30  (+65% ), Level 4 = 50  (+100% ), Level 5 = 300  (+200% )

Flower Factory Supervisor           Level 1 = 20  (+10% ), Level 2 = 40  (+40% ), Level 3 = 60  (+65% ), Level 4 = 150  (+100% ), Level 5 = 300  (+130% )

Cake Factory Supervisor               Level 1 = 30  (+10% ), Level 2 = 60  (+35% ), Level 3 = 90  (+65% ), Level 4 = 150  (+100% ), Level 5 = 300  (+100% )

Beverage factory supervisor       Level 1 = 40  (+10% ), Level 2 = 80  (+30% ), Level 3 = 120  (+65% ), Level 4 = 200  (+100% ), Level 5 = 400  (+60% )

Fireworks Factory Supervisor     Level 1 = 50  (+10% ), Level 2 = 100  (+25% ), Level 3 = 150  (+65% ), Level 4 = 250  (+100% ), Level 5 = 500  (+50% )

You will get a lot right at the start so it's easy to overspend as you are completing your rush quests.  If you're not going for gold league then there is no hurry.  Take your time with the tutorial town and don't rush to town 2 before the rival quest asks for a lv5 manager.  Start town 2 then with a lv5 festival manager right away and complete 10 tasks then stop.  Complete the next day's rival then stop.  Get the next day's rival that asks for a lv 5 manager and then complete that town.  The alternative is doing two towns with a lv5 manager which is fine but only recommended if you're going for gold league.

There are three town variants plus the first tutorial town.

The first tutorial town can be skipped by gathering only 1million shamrocks and go to town (variant) 2.

As stated above we don't recommend you do that so instead of finishing 8 tasks then going to town 2 you can finish 15 tasks.  If you are waiting for the rival to start you can complete task 16 and 17 before being asked to hire a lv2 manager for drink factory.

Again this is the post that outlines all the changes from Beta to Live server

We are not including any quests at this time as we were told they have changed so no rush, daily or rival quests.

Everything below this point is a copy/paste from our post when the event launched on Beta

We wish you the best of luck in this event.

We started posting information about this event last October.  Here is the link if you want to see it or how things have changed from the WIP/Alpha testing to Beta.  There were not a lot of changes but every change was to decrease the rewards.

This event mechanic is now so well known that it hardly seems worth discussing so we won't and we'll go right to strategy.

Before the event starts you need to decide which strategy you will choose.  Do you want to open all the boxes when completing a town or festival or whatever they're calling it this time OR do you want to complete as many tasks as possible and go for gold league?

If you want to advance the prize line and go for gold league then be prepared to complete 23-28 festivals (I will probably call it towns a number of times and won't bother changing it.)

You should also be prepared to spend a lot of diamonds as this has historically been a high spending event.  So buy extra event currency, hire lv5 managers, set timers and sweat out the next three weeks going for gold.

We do not endorse this strategy at all Look at the rewards and decide for yourself what is good.  We have them ranked here and in the master spreadsheet.

In our view the rewards are.....fine.  Not good, not garbage just ok.  Anything under a 40 on the value table would be ok but next up to be replaced.  Even the gold league building is underwhelming and made worse by making fragments for a main building that's just OK and not worth chasing.

What do we recommend?  Well if your city population can handle it I'd say get one (and only one) ascended fortunate celtic goldsmith and three lv 2 McDough's Loaf House.  Play the event casually.  Don't spend any diamonds.  Don't set alarms.  Don't wake up in the middle of the night to complete your town to start the next.  Let other people sweat out the event.

This event should be a mix of open all boxes six times and picking your spots to advance the prize line so I'd suggest this.

Open all boxes after the tutorial town and the next four towns.  Just put your managers on lv1 and let it take 3 days to complete.  Then on day 13 you'll have five Loaf House and only need one more which you will get on the last day of the event.  Now you can play the last week of the event knowing you only need enough event currency for that last box.

Why aren't we high on the main event building?  For people that are hardcore GbG players they will like the main building and really like this event.  We value niche fight bonuses less than just general bonuses.  So giving someone red GE attack or blue GbG attack has less value than just a boost to red or blue attack that can be applied in every mechanic outside QI.

The druid temple upgrades with all due respect to the people who really need a tiny blue QI fight boost is just garbage.  Players will be far better-off getting the side building and ascending them.  Speaking of which the store is really where this event is worth playing even if only casually.  In the store you can get some side building upgrades and hero fragments if you need them.  You can also get some platinum upgrades of other buildings which are far better than the druid temple.  I'd be very surprised if the druid temples aren't given a boost before it goes to live server.

Random Production

  • 70 % 8 fragments of finish special production (need 30)
  • 30 % 10 fragments of Ascended Fortunate Celtic Goldsmith upgrade kit (need 1000)

This building averages 3 fragments a day.

You need 11.11111 per day to have an ascended fortunate goldmith perpetually.

So in order to have one perpetually you will need three level 2 McDough's Loaf Houses and hit it with BG a few times or get four of them which seems the most logical as you probably have better things to use BG charges on.

Also the population cost may prevent players from placing it at all.
