We're getting a lot of questions about requirements for SAD and very specifically how much SASH dark matter you need or special goods of other ages so here we go.
A very kind member who has not yet aged up provided clean screenshots for us.

SASH goods:
- 87,500 oxygen pills
- 92,000 silver crystals
- 69,000 deep space data
- 63,000 dark energy batteries
- 59,500 hypersleep modules
Fighting:
- best troops is champions+rogues
- second best is 8 fast units
- third is range+rogues
- absolute worst troops is artillery. If you want to use artillery then use SASH artillery.
EDIT: New troops do not have keen eye
Mission fighting is easy I got 5 diamond rewards on the first day. I expect that is an aberration and not something that will be replicated consistently.
What fight boosts will you need to fight GE at highest trial level or to infinite fight in GbG?
We don't know yet. Beta has not implemented SAD age into GE or GbG. As a bonus that also means there is no SAD goods cost to open GE levels or build camps in GbG. I would expect that to change for next season of GE and GbG and live server will have SAD goods cost.
What's the best way to get BP for new GB when the new age begins?
Use FSP on autumn vineyard that gives BP for next age GB's.
Or you can sit back and let other people build and level what appears to be a useless GB at this time. When it changes (not if but when) it may become good. You can build and level then if you want but don't waste the city space now.
When will it come to live server?
It was supposed to have an extended run on Beta but outside of a few issues it's going very well so the tentative date for live server is Aug 24. We'll see but that's the plan.

Disappointed that Inno will not offer a main-city medal victory expansion or the traditional continent map expansions with the Stellar Age. Guessing it's because the main city grid is running out of room for the top SASH players but it leaves the players camping in earlier ages at an unfair disadvantage. 🫤

ReplyDeleteWe are not involved with the launch dates and have no way to slow it down or speed it up. SAD is coming out more than a year behind schedule. During that delay we were given multiple release dates only to have them cancelled or pushed back.

It went from Beta July 28 to pushed back 2 weeks three days later.
Then September on beta, October on live server.
Then moved up to second week of Aug on beta date TBD

Is this a call of duty thing where you took time off work to play the new age and are upset it’s delayed?
We were told it was going to be released on the 24th so that’s what we posted. It’s being released on the 26th. How did that impact your life?
Personally I’m very happy that it wasn’t do to the GE tax to open levels that would have screwed-over some guilds and now it won’t.
I fail to see why you’re upset.
Forgot to add. When you send in a ticket about things currently not in the game or things not announced you will not get an answer. You are talking to an in-game mod. They are players who play on your server but not your world. They are very knowledgeable about the game but they are not devs, testers or part of the promotional team. They are players, just like you. Even if they knew they couldn't say what the release date will be because it's all subject to change.

DeleteSo, if one Guild Player moves to SAD, does that mean the entire Guild will be dependent on one player to come up with goods for the entire Guild to play GE and build buildings in GBG?
ReplyDeleteThe good news is when they added the extra trial levels to 55 they did reduce the cost to open levels. I think that was summer/fall of 2025.
DeleteYou can see the exact cost for your entire guild at the choose your trial screen in the "unlock difficulty costs overview" by clicking the icon in the top left.
It will be different for every guild. It factors how many active players are in your guild of that age, what trial level they've unlocked and then what difficulty you're unlocking.
As a rough guestimate just assume a minimum of 330+ of each SAD good per player to unlock all five difficulties. It's not a crazy amount if people just collect right after they age up. You can also open up GE levels after a day or two.
For GbG it's harder because if you only have one player in SAD and your home base requires 50k of a SAD good to build a camp then they better use some FSP and donate those goods.
As a general rule if there is only one player then they should wait until GbG starts. In this case it's only one more day. That's not a huge ask.
Have we gotten any news on the GB update? Is it following the new age release?
ReplyDeleteI counted the amount of GB updates and information packets we've received in the last three years including the accurate one about the Beta launch and the rescinded one on live server. There are 17 in total. At this point I don't trust any of it. I don't think they're lying I just don't think they know what they want as an end product.
