FoE helper removed

There is a lot of panic in the FoE community because FoE helper has been removed from the chrome store. That means people who did not have FOE helper previously will no longer be able to add it as an extension. But there is good news, well at least for now. People hat have already added the extension can still use it. If you go to your extensions you will see this. You can then turn it back on. And then it's back, for now. It's still available for Firefox As of right now you can still add it to Brave browser but I would expect that to change for all the chrome type of variant browsers. So it may be time to get a bunch of browsers, download FoE helper extension for those browsers and keep that as a back-up in case it's removed from the extension stores. Summer Event 2025 live server

This event should be familiar with most FoE players so if you want to skip to the prizes. This is the famous "shuffle board" mechanic which makes this more luck than skill but not entirely. We'll discuss strategy as we go. Event currency: Doubloons obtained by completing quests and via incidents in your city. If you are signed up for the newsletter you can get some free event currency there as well. It costs 10 doubloons to reveal a tile. Sortable spreadsheet with all event buildings including the Winter Event 2024 and Wildlife Event 2025

Link for spreadsheet Changes for this version is the inclusion of Winter Event 2024 and the buildings currently in Beta for the Wildlife Event 2025 We've also added a column for Historic Allies. Right now it's just a "y" for yes it houses a historical ally. It's a placeholder for people to quickly find the buildings that house a historical ally. We're thinking of just averaging out the bonus stats for allies and adding that to the building that stores them as that's the point of those buildings. Right now the value has not been changed to include the ally bonus but future spreadsheets will include that. We've also reduced the "value" of goods to a ratio of 10:1 of goods:FP. The reason for this is the introduction of event buildings that produce 100's of goods so they're no longer scarce even in SAT or SASH ages.

Rival Quests for live server June 3, 2025

We're finishing the rival on Japan server now and there have been some changes. Will update within the hour. Quests have been updated and list is complete. Only two significant changes for quest 3 and 23. Good luck in the rival. QI how do you deal with players that are either dumb or selfish?

QI is no longer new. We no longer need QI officers to mark paths. Everyone should know by now how to play QI. Guilds divide into red/blue/yellow (donators) All players fight at least the first four or five maps there should be zero donations until at least map five or six. Fighters go straight to the garrisons so all players get a fight bonus. Once garrisons are down then move to strongholds which debuff the bosses. Once strongholds are down then go to bosses. Only fight the extra nodes if you have or will have a full quantum action bar and are waiting for the other color team to take down their nodes. Every player should have a forgotten temple in their city giving them a small QI boost which allows them with just that to fight the first three maps using just the troops given at QI start. Then when garrisons are down the fight boost doubles making it possible to fight map five or higher. Simple right? Everyone knows this? So why do most guilds have players...

Higher Age Units the easy guide

There are plenty of guides out there and most are good. Some are hard to follow and there are a few that are flat-out wrong. I'm putting this out because despite all the guides available (including one already on this blog) people still ask how to do it and there is a need for a hand-holding version. That's not a pejorative it's just the reality that there is a need for a simple and accurate guide. Getting troops of a higher age involves pushing the campaign map in a very specific way. Negotiate some sectors, fight others and completely ignore some. The other aspect is the tech tree. Deciding to go for higher age troops means you will leave certain techs unresearched because you will need them later. Lastly, the third leg of this adventure is working the story quests and side-quests correctly so you do not get blocked. If you mess up any of these three legs it may be somewhat correctable by forgoing some advanced age troops or by moving to the n...

Embargo until June 16, 2025 Note: The final stats of both Eco Hub upgrades may change when it hits Beta. From what we're hearing they may add back the FP and goods that were taken away. We will update when the event comes online. Edit: Goods of the next age were added back into the Eco Nexus and Eco Utopia This event has the combining mechanic and world challenge we are all familiar with. For those not familiar the TLDR is this. As you progress you get individual rewards and global rewards. The global rewards are based on server progress so if you're on a dead server then you won't get much. If you're on a newer or more active server you can expect maximum rewards. The global rewards are based on the server reaching milestones and only those who have contributed to those milestones can claim rewards so playing daily is key here. FoE GbG matchmaking

FoE keeps saying they are improving the matchmaking but let's be real here it's worse now than it's ever been. Now we have fire seasons with the top 4 guilds and all the other seasons are just dead. Top guilds get matched with non-competitive guilds. Before you go adding new stuff please just fix the old stuff.

Quantum Incursions: Championship 3 starting June 5, 2025 on Beta

Neo Kiosk and Neo Magnum Opus fragments are removed from reward pool and quantum pass. The Spring 2025 Epic selection kit is now replaced with the Summer 2025 selection kit which includes all the previous rewards. New Buildings: Neo Obelisk Lv1 2x2 2x2 and requires road 64 - 82% red and blue attack and attack defense GE 200 guild goods Neo Obelisk Lv2 2x2 no road required 88 - 113% red and blue attack and attack defense GE 400 guild goods Neo Shrine of Knowledge Lv1 7 3x3 and requires road 54 - 75% red and blue attack and attack defense GbG 45 -58 FP Neo Shrine of Knowledge Lv2 3x3 no road required 95 - 130% red and blue attack and attack defense GbG 63 - 81 FP These buildings have been added to the spreadsheet of all buildings in FoE. The Neo Obelisk lv2 is the clear winner in terms of raw stats BUT......it's all GE boost. While harder levels of GE are comming does it matter? To us it doesn't unless some new buildings are introduced to make it worth it....
