QI town for new players A town


 

This QI is from a brand new city made specifically for this endeavor.  We're starting with only the shards given, not buying anymore.  We're opening three shard expansions and the rest will be done with goods when we can.

This town has zero boosts from main city.  So no fight, goods, coin or supply boosts.  As you can see we don't have enough coin to fill our settlement so the first harvest will be crucial.  

We are starting with only the troops given and not building a barrack.  This build requires the guild take down the garrisons to give us a 100% fight boost.

The problem is I see this on the QI map.

See all the donation nodes done?  That's how you know your guild is garbage at QI.  If you open your QI map and see this I would strongly suggest finding a better guild.

In a bad QI guild like this you will have to build decorations early which really hinders your settlement.
It appears that the guild I just joined has no chance of clearing nodes to play normally so I will have to build a lot of decorations or just be a donator when a new map is opened.  Either way this will not be a high-scoring season.

1st collection

Remove houses and place churches until happiness is at 150%


Now collect coin.

Remove houses and some churches while adding breweries.  Make sure to keep happiness at 150%

Now collect supplies.  Build a barrack and then 50 catapults.  Delete the barrack.  Now we have enough to build two alchemists but we can't do that because our guild sucks so we build one alchemist and one decoration then fill the space with churches and if you have some extra space put in some estate houses.

The reason we do it this way is because we haven't used any of our quantum actions yet and we never want that bar to be completely full.  In our next collection we'll add another alchemist.  We'll have less chrono alloy that we did in the first harvest so it's perfectly reasonable if you want instead of putting in churches to just put in houses like we did when we first set-up our settlement.

So you have a choice.  Either do it like the picture above like I'm doing it for some extra quantum actions and we rotate the crops at the next harvest or....



Do it like this but now with one alchemist and one decoration and fill-out the rest of the space with estate houses.  This method will get us an additional alchemist at harvest but less QA for 10 hours.

Either way works but I will always favor more quantum actions.
