Arthur's Event for live server with all the quests starting June 18, 2026

Quests and strategy at the end.

Edit: Most of the changes from Beta to Live server aren't worth mentioning but some are.

Rival challenge reduced some special buffs and added 30 valor tokens and 5 dragonsteel shards (ingots)

This is a positive change

King Arthur's Return is a reskin of the usual Summer Event but let's give Inno some credit as there's a lot more to it than a simple reskin.  Well at least visually (thanks AI I guess?).  Also there are some minor tweaks from testing to beta.

This event marks the beginning of hyper inflation where we get way more fight boosts, FP, goods etc. to make the pain of the GB update easier to tolerate.

I'm going to skip the storyline and all the fluff and just get into the event BUT you may want to have animations and sound turned on as they put a lot of work into that.

So let's get into it.

This is what it will look like when you first start the event.

Each board has 16 "villages/tiles".  It costs 10 royal favor to "visit a village/turn over a tile".

Picture the summer event dragon board/shuffle event when reading this and it will make it easier.

Merlin's seal - get three of these to unlock a super board
Camelot coin - store currency

Royal favor - main event currency to visit villages/flip tiles

When you spend 10 royal favor to visit a village you get grand prize progress and a random reward.

You can also get special rewards

  • reveal two
  • 2x reward
  • or shuffle which is not considered special

Warning:  No not play the Piggy Bank mechanic.  It is predatory and misleading.  Friends don't let friends get scammed by this mechanic.  Ok here's what it is.

No wait that's not right it's this.

You can collect a Merlin's Grimoire on the board.

You will then get to choose your reward.  You have two options or you can spend diamonds to get both.  If you don't like either option you can spend diamonds to re-roll the two choices.

Once your piggy bank is full of all the free and purchased with diamond rewards you can claim all the items for free right?  Right?

No it's not yours yet even if you spent diamonds.  You then have to pay to get all the items in the piggy bank.

Super Boards:

Once you get three Merlin's seals your NEXT board will be a super board.

There's supposed to be some special animations but they didn't work in testing.

Super board will have increase rewards and more special tiles (x2 and reveal 2)

There is no shuffle on super board

Remember that all boards reset at server reset so don't start a super board unless you have time to finish it completely.

For non-super boards use the reset to your advantage.

Boosters:

Merlin's all-seeing eye - reveal 2 tiles

Lady of the Lake Blessing - 2x reward

Mists of Avalon is new.  It hides the garbage filler rewards (and shuffle) so you only get the show two, double payout, Camelot coins, pendragon coins, dragonsteel ingots (calendar) or merlin's seals.

Just a note.  I believe "dragonsteel" will make it to beta spelled incorrectly so we will spell it incorrectly here as well.

You get boosters from the Pendragon Hoard Store (premium store) or Rival Challenges.

Calendar mechanic is a bit different so credit to Inno for trying.  To be honest I would rather those labor hours go into the GB change and releasing the new age can I get an Amen!

The calendar is a forge.  Each day has a furnace.

Dragonsteel Ingots are the keys

Dragonsteel shards are the key fragments.  You need five to make one ingot.

There's supposed to be a graphic that shows progress in reforging a sword.

After completing the first ten forges you reach a milestone.  A new questline opens.  It was not working in testing so it will be new to us as well.

Once that milestone is reached the graphic change again.  Once the calendar/forge is completed you get the "True King's Excalibur" building.

Event store:

  • Camelot Market
  • Pendragon Hoard

Rewards

Master spreadsheet updated

On the master spreadsheet the event has it's own tab.  You can also go to the "New Value" tab and see how the buildings compare to every other building in the game.
Five of the buildings from the Arthur event are ranked in the top ten of all the buildings in the game.  Hyper inflation is here.

Main Event Building

Camelot lv 6 makes silver upgrade

Noble Camelot (silver) lv 7 makes golden upgrade

Royal Camelot (gold) lv 8 does NOT make platinum upgrade

Crown of Camelot (platinum) lv 9 does NOT make ascended upgrade

Pendragon's Throne of Camelot (ascended) lv 10

So we'll highlight the gold level and up as the base and silver will eventually get there.

Royal Camelot

  • lv 8 Gold
  • 6x6 requires road
  • houses historical ally
  • 59,400 population
  • 89,100 happiness
  • 160 % red and blue attack and defense
  • 280 % red and blue attack and defense GbG
  • 10 % coin boost (not QI)
  • 576,000 coins
  • 325 FP
  • 455 goods
  • 3 of 100 frags of Legends of Camelot Selection kit
  • 10 of 30 fragments of mass self-aid kit

The mass self-aid kit fragments are a game changer.  Also don't overlook the pop/happiness as so many side buildings and ascended buildings demand one or the other.  The fight boosts are for GbG not GE.  Overall this is an outstanding building and the higher versions only get better.  Especially for blue QI fighters!

Crown of Camelot

  • lv 9 Platinum Level
  • 6x6 no road required
  • houses ally
  • 63,000 population
  • 94,500 happiness
  • 200 % red and blue attack and defense
  • 320 % red and blue attack and defense GbG
  • 20% coin boost (not QI)
  • 15 % blue attack and defense QI
  • 648,000 coins
  • 350 FP
  • 490 goods
  • 4 of 100 fragments of Legends of Camelot selection kit
  • 10 of 30 Mass self-aid fragments

Pendragon's Throne of Camelot

  • lv 10 ascended 90 days
  • 6x6 no road required
  • houses ally
  • 63,000 population
  • 94,500 happiness
  • 240 % red and blue attack and defense
  • 360 % red and blue attack and defense GbG
  • 40 % coin boost (not QI)
  • 30 % blue attack and defense QI
  • 4 % FP boost
  • 2 % goods boost
  • 200 QA
  • 8,000 Q storage
  • 400 FP
  • 560 goods
  • 5 of 100 fragments of Legends of Camelot selection kit
  • 10 of 30 Mass self-aid fragments

It's been a long time since there was a main building in this game worth chasing.  You can maintain two of these perpetually using BG charges on the calendar reward building "The True King's Excalibur".

Legends of Camelot selection kit gives a choice of

  • Knight's Round Table
  • Sword in the Lake

Knight's Round Table

  • lv 1
  • 3x3 no road required
  • costs 90,000 population
  • 80 % red attack and defense
  • 120 % red attack and defense GbG
  • 270,000 supplies
  • 120 FP
  • 64 goods

Ascended Knight's Round Table

  • lv 2
  • 30 days
  • 3x3 no road required
  • costs 90,000 population
  • 180 % red attack and defense
  • 270 % red attack and defense GbG
  • 360,000 supplies
  • 45 % red attack and defense QI
  • 25,000 Q coins at incursion start
  • 5 Q units at incursion start
  • 1 % FP boost
  • 270 FP
  • 144 goods

Sword in the Lake

  • lv 1
  • 3x3 no road required
  • costs 90,000 population
  • 80 % blue attack and defense
  • 120 % blue attack and defense GbG
  • 270,000 supplies
  • 40 FP
  • 200 goods

Ascended Sword in the Lake

  • lv  2  30 days
  • 3x3 no road required
  • costs 90,000 population
  • 180 % blue attack and defense
  • 270 % blue attack and defense GbG
  • 45 % blue attack and defense QI
  • 25,000 Q supplies at incursion start
  • 10 Q goods at incursion start
  • 1 % goods boost
  • 360,000 supplies
  • 90 FP
  • 450 goods

Gold League reward

The Wrath of Morgan le Fay

There's supposed to be a dragon animation and sound when you collect.  It was not working a few weeks ago so we'll see.

  • 6x6 requires road
  • houses ally
  • 400 % red and blue attack and defense
  • 600 % red and blue attack and defense GbG
  • 25 % red and blue attack and defense QI
  • 5 % FP boost
  • 5 % goods boost
  • 225 FP
  • 400 goods
  • 20 of 150 Fragments of Royal Camelot Golden Selection Kit

I have to imagine that there will be a lot of diamonds spent trying to get into gold league.

Calendar Reward

The True King's Excalibur

  • 6x6 requires road
  • houses ally
  • 195,000 population
  • 250 % red and blue attack and defense
  • 375 % red and blue attack and defense GbG
  • 25 % red and blue attack and defense QI
  • 850 Goods
  • 500 FP

Random Production:

  • 25 % 4,200 goods
  • 25 % 1,800 FP
  • 50 % to get 24 of 1000 fragments of Pendragon's Throne of Camelot upgrade kit

it will take 83.3 days to get an ascension kit so if you're lucky with BG charges you can have two perpetually

Piggy Bank (do not play this predatory mechanic)

Merlin's Counsel

  • 4x4 road required
  • costs 180,000 population
  • 225 % red and blue attack and defense
  • 72,000 medals
  • 180 FP
  • 270 prev age goods

Random production:

  • 25% 52 of 30 fragments of finish special production
  • 50% 10 of 15 fragments finish all supply productions
  • 25% 24 of 30 fragments reno kit

Eternal Market fragments

  • 800 grand prize lane
  • 100 bronze league and above
  • 100 Excalibur (last milestone)
  • 100 Pendragon Hoard Store
  • 100 Main quest line
  • That's a total of 1200 instead of the usual 1100

Historical Allies

King Arthur

  • common 5% blue defense
  • uncommon 10% blue attack
  • rare six heavy units of next age
  • epic 15% blue attack and defense GbG
  • legendary next 200 heavy units in GbG have a 42% chance of gaining contact skill
  • sounds cool but of the three new allies this is the least desirable

Merlin

  • common 5% blue attack and defense GbG
  • uncommon 10% red attack and defense GbG
  • rare six range units of next age
  • epic 15% red and blue attack and defense GbG
  • legendary next 200 range units in GbG have 42% chance of gaining flying skill
  • keep in mind some ages allow artillery to hit flying units

This one is good but the next one is awesome

Morgan le Fay

  • common 5% red attack
  • uncommon 10% red defense
  • rare six artillery units of next age
  • epic 15% red attack and defense GbG
  • legendary next 200 artillery units in GbG have a 17% chance of gaining MIRV skill

MIRV (multiple independently targetable re-entry vehicle) ability allows artillery unit to hit it's primary selected target plus an additional 1-3 enemy units in range.  It can damage four total units with one strike.

Outstanding!  I can see using this when out of attrition and placing it only when needed and manual fighting.

Avatars

Even with the slight delay from June 16 to June 18 the event will start on live server before it ends on Beta.
All the quests and strategy advice is based on the beta.  If the quests remain the same as what we're getting in beta then we'll update the final daily quests as they come in.  Long before you need it for live server.

Strategy:
This is based on the balancing from Beta server.
This is also geared towards free to play players.  If there's an event worth using diamonds this one is it but buying currency trump's strategy so do what you feel is best.

So free to play players I have some sad news for you.  People are going to spend to get into gold league.  Getting into the silver league will be difficult but that should be the goal as it gives a platinum upgrade for the main event building.  You'll get another from the prize line and fragments from the board.  So it is reasonable to expect if you make the silver league you will have at least three platinum upgrades without buying more from the event store using premium coins.

If you do make the gold league then you should decide how many main buildings you want in your city and buy platinum upgrades using premium coins.

If you are not going to end up in gold league so you will not have an ability to make more of the main event buildings then there is a better use of the premium coins.

The calendar mechanic is super easy to complete for free.  The main reward building makes the ascended upgrade for the main event building.

So what we recommend is this.
Use the non-premium coin to buy mist of avalon special tool then convert 10 non-premium for 1 premium coin.  So just bypass all the ascended upgrades and older obsolete buildings and upgrades.

Use the premium coin on platinum upgrades if you need more.  Do not use them on silver or gold as you'll be able to make those if you need them.  You can get ascended upgrades for the main building for 3 coins.  There are three premium allies and Morgan le Fay is interesting but here's the thing.  Until they unlock ways to upgrade these allies in a way that doesn't take years feel free to ignore them.  By the time you accumulate the resources to upgrade them properly you will have much better allies.  We recommend using the premium coin on the special boosts here as well.  You can get 10 total merlin's all seeing eyes, and 16 lady of the lake blessings for 10 premium coins.  You can also get 400 mists of avalon for 5 more coins.

The goal is to use the 4x bonus exploit as often as possible while getting one ingot (calendar key) a day.
So when you play a board it will have a non-premium coin and either a seal or ingot.  When playing a board once you expose the ingot you stop.  Save your event currency.
To save event currency I suggest using the mists boost to hide the trash rewards and the shuffle.  So if the quest requires you to expose an ingot and your board has a seal on it well maybe the next five boards have seals as well so just get to the prize and try to get to a super board.
You can keep playing and using event currency or use the mist boost to destroy all the trash items.  If you use FoE helper you can see what items are destroyed.  Once you see the shuffle has been destroyed stop using the special item.  Go back to using event currency until you get the seal or ingot.  If you expose the 2x boost you may want to use the mists boost again to remove all the remaining trash prizes.  If the coin and see 2 boosts were already revealed the only remaining tile will be the seal or ingot.  Before you collect that 2x reward also click the lady of the lake boost so you'll get 4x that reward.  If it's an ingot you'll have today's calendar key and 3/5th of another key.  If it's a seal your next board will be a super board.  With 5 days remaining in this event I have enough key fragments using this strategy to complete the calendar without getting any more ingots so I'm just focusing on seals and not using the 2x or 4x exploit on ingots anymore.

Super boards.  Use the merlin's seeing eye boost to expose all the 2x and see 2 on the board.  Use the see 2 boosts and hope you expose the thing on the board you're looking for.  All the super boards have ingots so getting 4x ingots is easy.
If you're going for gold league remember you get more progress from super boards so using the boosts to get to the super board is advised.  I targeted ingots and premium coins.

If you don't use the mists and just play board after board looking for ingots or seals depending on what the quests wants then you will run out of event currency.

Quests

All the quests from Beta are incredibly easy and I would expect them to change for live server.  We were not told they will change but we were told they were made easy to ensure everyone can complete them and test the currency and boost balancing.  So the following is the beta tasks and you have been warned.

Rival challenge
when we say open village that's like flipping tiles from other events.  These are daily rivals so if you want to stack them you can but that's not what we recommend.  Try to get an ingot a day and doing the rivals make it easier as it gives the special boosts.
Ingot is dragon steel.  It's what's used to open calendar doors.

While this site caters to more advanced players that simply want some spoilers or tips on how to improve we're constantly reminded that newish players visit as well and we shouldn't assume every reader knows the short forms or will understand how to efficiently complete quests so here is some quick tips.

Advanced cities will have quality of life buildings in them that are there to make daily play and events easier.  These are buildings that earn their place outside of any fight boost per tile calculation.

So mass self aid kit is the best example as you need 30 fragments per day to perpetually have all your buildings aided which will give 2x or more your daily FP and goods return.  As an aside if you don't produce 30 a day or you really want to get rid of your nutcrackers then the Arthur event has a solution for you.

You will see people with Drakkar Pyre because while they offer finish goods, finish supply and finish special productions fragments.

Or you see buildings in cities that produce one-up, reno or store item kits.  All are needed and underperforming buildings will be allowed city space.

I say all that because advanced players will look at a quest list and just see where they will be using supply rush boosts or goods rush boosts and breeze through the quests with ease.

Meanwhile developing player will look at 24hr productions and wonder how to make that work.  Well these tips and tricks are for you.

Starting with the supply quests you know what's coming so prep in advance.  First up is 4hr, then 8hr and then 24hr.  The amount that needs to be completed will vary by age.  Sometimes supply quests will specify the age of the building but in this case it does not.  So build a bunch of blacksmiths and set them to 4hr.  When you hit that quest collect all of them.  Make sure you've satisfied the quest then select the 8hr for all of them.  Once that quest is completed set for 24hrs and you will be able to do all the supply quests without using any rush boosts.

Do the same for goods productions.  In this case it does not specify age of building so just build six goods buildings of the bronze age.  Set two for 24hrs and 4 for 48hrs.  Hopefully some a-hole in your hood doesn't plunder you because griefers do exist and you're all set.

Space ages player can use the goods buildings in their colonies.

Recruiting units.  Do you have a traz or stellar warship?  Do you have event buildings that produce troops?  Do you have finish special productions boosts?

Advanced players will have one or two event buildings that produce troops of your previous age.  As you age-up just keep one or two of those building a prev age to complete quests easy.  Remember some buildings produce next age troops so if you're going to use one of those you need it two ages behind.  As a rule of thumb it's better those buildings make next age units so use something else for previous age troop quests.  If you don't have any of those but do have a traz or SW then plant a barrack of the previous age, remove your current age barrack then collect traz.

Win x fights without lose.  This rival event will be running without GbG active (GbG is active thank you for commenting) so you can get fights in GE, hood, PvP tower and continent map.  Depending on your fight boosts the provision of not losing isn't a factor at all.  For developing players it's an issue so here's what you do.

Don't aid your hood so you have fights available.  When you want easy fights to to the weakest players in your hood and get those fights.

If GE is hard for you then pick trial 5 or lower for easy fights.  You should be doing 80 GE every week anyways so not much instruction needed here.  How do you do 72 GE in two days without spending a bunch of medals?  Don't do any GE until that quest is up.  Spending some medals will be unavoidable even with the extra turn rewards but the cost is very low and increases the more turns you have to buy.

So how to approach this rival?  Prep what you can in advance.  What I try to do is complete all events in one or two city collections.

After quest 4 where you do 8 GE you will still have at least 4 available turns in GE so keep pushing the quests until you get to quest 8 where you may have to buy 3 additional turns.

Quest 12 you have to do 8 more GE and may have to buy 5 more turns but do it because you at least want to get to the 4hr quests (quest 15) that you've prepped in advance.  Then set the timers for 8hrs and you have more GE encounters you need to complete.

Come back around 8hrs later and do the GE and keep completing quests.  Quest 19 is the 8hr productions and make sure that's satisfied and set 24hr productions.

Quest 24 is 16 GE encounters.  Do as much as you can but don't buy extra turns.  This is a good go to work or go to bed spot as the GE encounters will be full when you return.

When you return complete any outstanding GE encounters and you'll get 8 extra turns in the next few quests so when you get the 16 encounter quest 28 you may only need to buy 4-6 turns to finish it.

Try to finish all the quests by your second collection at the latest.

King Arthur's Return Event on Beta May 21 - June 22, 2026 Updated with all the quests

Happy surprise as this was embargoed until May 26 but since it's on Beta now it's publish time.

Hing Arthur's Return is a reskin of the usual Summer Event but let's give Inno some credit as there's a lot more to it than a simple reskin.  Well at least visually (thanks AI I guess?).  Also there are some minor tweaks from testing to beta.

This event marks the beginning of hyper inflation where we get way more fight boosts, FP, goods etc. to make the pain of the GB update easier to tolerate.

I'm going to skip the storyline and all the fluff and just get into the event BUT you may want to have animations and sound turned on as they put a lot of work into that.

So let's get into it.

This is what it will look like when you first start the event.

Each board has 16 "villages/tiles".  It costs 10 royal favor to "visit a village/turn over a tile".

Picture the summer event dragon board/shuffle event when reading this and it will make it easier.

Merlin's seal - get three of these to unlock a super board
Camelot coin - store currency

Royal favor - main event currency to visit villages/flip tiles

When you spend 10 royal favor to visit a village you get grand prize progress and a random reward.

You can also get special rewards

  • reveal two
  • 2x reward
  • or shuffle which is not considered special

Warning:  No not play the Piggy Bank mechanic.  It is predatory and misleading.  Friends don't let friends get scammed by this mechanic.  Ok here's what it is.

No wait that's not right it's this.

You can collect a Merlin's Grimoire on the board.

You will then get to choose your reward.  You have two options or you can spend diamonds to get both.  If you don't like either option you can spend diamonds to re-roll the two choices.

Once your piggy bank is full of all the free and purchased with diamond rewards you can claim all the items for free right?  Right?

No it's not yours yet even if you spent diamonds.  You then have to pay to get all the items in the piggy bank.

Super Boards:

Once you get three Merlin's seals your NEXT board will be a super board.

There's supposed to be some special animations but they didn't work in testing.

Super board will have increase rewards and more special tiles (x2 and reveal 2)

There is no shuffle on super board

Remember that all boards reset at server reset so don't start a super board unless you have time to finish it completely.

For non-super boards use the reset to your advantage.

Boosters:

Merlin's all-seeing eye - reveal 2 tiles

Lady of the Lake Blessing - 2x reward

Mists of Avalon is new.  It hides the garbage filler rewards (and shuffle) so you only get the show two, double payout, Camelot coins, pendragon coins, dragonsteel ingots (calendar) or merlin's seals.

Just a note.  I believe "dragonsteel" will make it to beta spelled incorrectly so we will spell it incorrectly here as well.

You get boosters from the Pendragon Hoard Store (premium store) or Rival Challenges.

Calendar mechanic is a bit different so credit to Inno for trying.  To be honest I would rather those labor hours go into the GB change and releasing the new age can I get an Amen!

The calendar is a forge.  Each day has a furnace.

Dragonsteel Ingots are the keys

Dragonsteel shards are the key fragments.  You need five to make one ingot.

There's supposed to be a graphic that shows progress in reforging a sword.

After completing the first ten forges you reach a milestone.  A new questline opens.  It was not working in testing so it will be new to us as well.

Once that milestone is reached the graphic change again.  Once the calendar/forge is completed you get the "True King's Excalibur" building.

Event store:

  • Camelot Market
  • Pendragon Hoard

Rewards

Master spreadsheet updated

On the master spreadsheet the event has it's own tab.  You can also go to the "New Value" tab and see how the buildings compare to every other building in the game.
Five of the buildings from the Arthur event are ranked in the top ten of all the buildings in the game.  Hyper inflation is here.

Main Event Building

Camelot lv 6 makes silver upgrade

Noble Camelot (silver) lv 7 makes golden upgrade

Royal Camelot (gold) lv 8 does NOT make platinum upgrade

Crown of Camelot (platinum) lv 9 does NOT make ascended upgrade

Pendragon's Throne of Camelot (ascended) lv 10

So we'll highlight the gold level and up as the base and silver will eventually get there.

Royal Camelot

  • lv 8 Gold
  • 6x6 requires road
  • houses historical ally
  • 59,400 population
  • 89,100 happiness
  • 160 % red and blue attack and defense
  • 280 % red and blue attack and defense GbG
  • 10 % coin boost (not QI)
  • 576,000 coins
  • 325 FP
  • 455 goods
  • 3 of 100 frags of Legends of Camelot Selection kit
  • 10 of 30 fragments of mass self-aid kit

The mass self-aid kit fragments are a game changer.  Also don't overlook the pop/happiness as so many side buildings and ascended buildings demand one or the other.  The fight boosts are for GbG not GE.  Overall this is an outstanding building and the higher versions only get better.  Especially for blue QI fighters!

Crown of Camelot

  • lv 9 Platinum Level
  • 6x6 no road required
  • houses ally
  • 63,000 population
  • 94,500 happiness
  • 200 % red and blue attack and defense
  • 320 % red and blue attack and defense GbG
  • 20% coin boost (not QI)
  • 15 % blue attack and defense QI
  • 648,000 coins
  • 350 FP
  • 490 goods
  • 4 of 100 fragments of Legends of Camelot selection kit
  • 10 of 30 Mass self-aid fragments

Pendragon's Throne of Camelot

  • lv 10 ascended 90 days
  • 6x6 no road required
  • houses ally
  • 63,000 population
  • 94,500 happiness
  • 240 % red and blue attack and defense
  • 360 % red and blue attack and defense GbG
  • 40 % coin boost (not QI)
  • 30 % blue attack and defense QI
  • 4 % FP boost
  • 2 % goods boost
  • 200 QA
  • 8,000 Q storage
  • 400 FP
  • 560 goods
  • 5 of 100 fragments of Legends of Camelot selection kit
  • 10 of 30 Mass self-aid fragments

It's been a long time since there was a main building in this game worth chasing.  You can maintain two of these perpetually using BG charges on the calendar reward building "The True King's Excalibur".

Legends of Camelot selection kit gives a choice of

  • Knight's Round Table
  • Sword in the Lake

Knight's Round Table

  • lv 1
  • 3x3 no road required
  • costs 90,000 population
  • 80 % red attack and defense
  • 120 % red attack and defense GbG
  • 270,000 supplies
  • 120 FP
  • 64 goods

Ascended Knight's Round Table

  • lv 2
  • 30 days
  • 3x3 no road required
  • costs 90,000 population
  • 180 % red attack and defense
  • 270 % red attack and defense GbG
  • 360,000 supplies
  • 45 % red attack and defense QI
  • 25,000 Q coins at incursion start
  • 5 Q units at incursion start
  • 1 % FP boost
  • 270 FP
  • 144 goods

Sword in the Lake

  • lv 1
  • 3x3 no road required
  • costs 90,000 population
  • 80 % blue attack and defense
  • 120 % blue attack and defense GbG
  • 270,000 supplies
  • 40 FP
  • 200 goods

Ascended Sword in the Lake

  • lv  2  30 days
  • 3x3 no road required
  • costs 90,000 population
  • 180 % blue attack and defense
  • 270 % blue attack and defense GbG
  • 45 % blue attack and defense QI
  • 25,000 Q supplies at incursion start
  • 10 Q goods at incursion start
  • 1 % goods boost
  • 360,000 supplies
  • 90 FP
  • 450 goods

Gold League reward

The Wrath of Morgan le Fay

There's supposed to be a dragon animation and sound when you collect.  It was not working a few weeks ago so we'll see.

  • 6x6 requires road
  • houses ally
  • 400 % red and blue attack and defense
  • 600 % red and blue attack and defense GbG
  • 25 % red and blue attack and defense QI
  • 5 % FP boost
  • 5 % goods boost
  • 225 FP
  • 400 goods
  • 20 of 150 Fragments of Royal Camelot Golden Selection Kit

I have to imagine that there will be a lot of diamonds spent trying to get into gold league.

Calendar Reward

The True King's Excalibur

  • 6x6 requires road
  • houses ally
  • 195,000 population
  • 250 % red and blue attack and defense
  • 375 % red and blue attack and defense GbG
  • 25 % red and blue attack and defense QI
  • 850 Goods
  • 500 FP

Random Production:

  • 25 % 4,200 goods
  • 25 % 1,800 FP
  • 50 % to get 24 of 1000 fragments of Pendragon's Throne of Camelot upgrade kit

it will take 83.3 days to get an ascension kit so if you're lucky with BG charges you can have two perpetually

Piggy Bank (do not play this predatory mechanic)

Merlin's Counsel

  • 4x4 road required
  • costs 180,000 population
  • 225 % red and blue attack and defense
  • 72,000 medals
  • 180 FP
  • 270 prev age goods

Random production:

  • 25% 52 of 30 fragments of finish special production
  • 50% 10 of 15 fragments finish all supply productions
  • 25% 24 of 30 fragments reno kit

Eternal Market fragments

  • 800 grand prize lane
  • 100 bronze league and above
  • 100 Excalibur (last milestone)
  • 100 Pendragon Hoard Store
  • 100 Main quest line
  • That's a total of 1200 instead of the usual 1100

Historical Allies

King Arthur

  • common 5% blue defense
  • uncommon 10% blue attack
  • rare six heavy units of next age
  • epic 15% blue attack and defense GbG
  • legendary next 200 heavy units in GbG have a 42% chance of gaining contact skill
  • sounds cool but of the three new allies this is the least desirable

Merlin

  • common 5% blue attack and defense GbG
  • uncommon 10% red attack and defense GbG
  • rare six range units of next age
  • epic 15% red and blue attack and defense GbG
  • legendary next 200 range units in GbG have 42% chance of gaining flying skill
  • keep in mind some ages allow artillery to hit flying units

This one is good but the next one is awesome

Morgan le Fay

  • common 5% red attack
  • uncommon 10% red defense
  • rare six artillery units of next age
  • epic 15% red attack and defense GbG
  • legendary next 200 artillery units in GbG have a 17% chance of gaining MIRV skill

MIRV (multiple independently targetable re-entry vehicle) ability allows artillery unit to hit it's primary selected target plus an additional 1-3 enemy units in range.  It can damage four total units with one strike.

Outstanding!  I can see using this when out of attrition and placing it only when needed and manual fighting.

  1. open 2 village
  2. open 4 AND shuffle
  3. open 6 and find coin on board
  4. open 8 AND find ingot OR merlin's seal
  5. open 10 AND find coin
  6. open 10 AND shuffle
  7. open 10 AND ingot OR merlin's seal

Arthur event on Beta delayed again

The embargo ends May 26, 2026 and there's still a chance it gets released that day but I here there are problems.  Plural so we'll see.

Events, new age, GB's etc. etc.  You can't cut staff to the point where everyone's "helping out" in areas they are not fully trained for and still expect it to run smoothly.

I did see a 200% bonus diamond offer so clearly the cash shop is getting full attention still.

Also, we owe Inno Games an apology so we'll put it here.

Whenever we work on a bigger post it's a collaborative effort.  A few days ago we made the draft page for the new era.  That page went from draft to publish by accident.  It had slightly less than 1k views before we were notified it was live and we removed it.

There wasn't anything Earth shattering on there but there was the dialogue of the contributors here talking candidly about the new age with the internal working name and some of the features like the troops and buildings.

We now have a system in place where this error cannot be repeated and apologize for spoiling some bits of the new era for people.

Master Spreadsheet updated May 13, 2026

Major changes to the value tab.

QI fight boosts and base fight boosts are still treated the same full point per tile.

GbG fight boosts are 50% value

GE fight boosts are 25% value.

When GE increases trial levels AND makes doing higher trial worth it we will revisit this.  For now that seems fair.  Base value is king, GbG is worth more than GE.

We also added the new QI buildings, the buildings from the Viking event and the WIP buildings from the new Arthur event.  WIP means it may change.

You should know that the Arthur event was supposed to be the beginning of the justification for the higher GB costs.  What that means is you will see a steep rise in the outputs of this event and all events moving forward.

I owe mobile players an apology

Because of work I've had to play QI this season mostly on mobile.  It's been years since I've even used the mobile version of the game and I forgot how awful it was compared to the PC version of the game.

Every aspect of this game is worse on mobile and I'm not just talking about FoE helper which you can use on mobile by the way provided you don't use the app and just use the desktop version while on mobile.

So GbG is no longer left mouse click and hold down R button to refresh troops.  No in two wave fights the heal button is in the same location as the fight button and I cannot tell you how many times I entered manual fight mode just because of the bad button placement.

Ads on mobile.  Enough said.

But the biggest issue I had was in QI.  I tried rotating the crops and found it impossible on mobile.  For all the people who complained about the crop rotations and I dismissed your complaints I apologize.

For all the people who don't take spots on 1.9's because you're on mobile you are forgiven.

Frankly if this game was mobile only I would find it unplayable.

I still remember back in the day when FoE was a flash game only available on PC and the young mobile programmers took over saying it was the future well they were right.  Mobile gamming is the future but I can't say I like that future.  They looked at us old heads converting a flash game into HTML 5 as dinosaurs.  Us dinosaurs looked at the young crop of mobile programmers as arrogant and we were both right.

But still get off my lawn.  The PC experience is far superior to the mobile experience.

Quiet lately but for a good reason

We haven't posted a bunch so here's just a quick what's happening post.

Viking event came to live server.  We didn't make a new post for it as the beta post covered it.

On Beta the May Madness cash shop happened and we didn't want to promote it.  It's just whale bait.  $200 plus dollars for event buildings that will be obsolete in 6-18 months for a free to play game.  This was part of the roadmap that had us dejected and we'll see it multiple times a year now.

Event on beta delayed seems the Arthur and summer event language was mixed and the artwork well was just bad.  I'm sure the AI will make it perfect the second time around.

Next age is starting to be injected into the came code.  This is a weird one for us as the original embargo expired.  Then they placed another embargo for an additional 6 months shortly thereafter and that expired on May 2, 2026.  As of now we have not receive another embargo so I think legally we can talk about the new age without getting in trouble but I know for sure 100% people would be grumpy if we did so we'll wait a bit.  If there was critical information you needed to prepare for it then we'd just spill the beans but there isn't.  Last we saw it was in a playable state but all placeholder assets so I'm guessing two months or so away.

Historic Allies Evolution coming to Beta April 29, 2026

Embargo ends April 28, 2026

Any ally you have can evolve into a higher rarity.  As you increase the rarity you unlock new abilities.

The power of the ally comes from progressing from lv 1 to lv 100.  Increasing rarity adds an ability but does not affect the power.

Possible evolutions:

  • common
  • uncommon
  • rare
  • epic
  • legendary

Allies will have five ability slots and each rarity unlocks an ability.

To evolve an ally you need:

  • Valor tokens
  • heroic scrolls

The costs for both of these items scale to level of ally and rarity of ally.

Valor Tokens:

  • Obtained by disbanding allies you no longer need
  • completing heroic tavern quests
  • event store purchase

So what the hell is that all about?  Well as you may have notice power creep exists in the ally system.  They are plentiful to get and the older allies are already obsolete.  By allowing players to disband these obsolete allies players can jump in the perpetual hamster wheel and chase the new shiny allies and make them stronger by disbanding the old ones.  Then in 6 months to a year you can disband the one you just upgraded and rinse and repeat!

Heroic Tavern will be upgraded to offer Valor Tokens and increase the availability of scrolls.

Negotiations will have less goods variable to start then get harder.

The cost to evolve and the rewards when you disband will likely change after the system is implemented and they see what players do with it but here's what it is now.

The new abilities is not just % fight boost increase.

From Inno

"New Historical Allies will be able to grant units special abilities. Including some of your favorite ones like: Poison, Force Field, Keen Eye, Frenzy etc.

When assigned to a building, Allies will be able to produce resources as well – these could include items such as: Goods, Units, Blueprints, Resources (Coins, Supplies, Medals), Fragments of special items (even Buildings!), etc."

One important note.  The ally's output is based on the age of the building not the age of the player.  So if the ally produce troops and you have a need for troops of previous age and an event building that can house an ally then this can work for you.  Place the ally in the prev age building and it will make troops of that age.

Same for goods.  You can use FSP and charges from Blue Galaxy will work on them as well.

Other changes:

You can hoard scrolls and tokens again.  The cap that was implemented last year has been removed.

Ability to level more than one level at a time.

Arthur Event coming to Beta

This is still under embargo but since we're getting questions I believe it's possible to answer the questions without answering them directly.

They want to tease the "new event" for about a week then make an announcement because it's a big deal and everyone will forget about GB and new age right?

Seasonal events are noticed when they're delayed so they prefer to reskin a seasonal event into something else.

The art department is mostly but not completely gone and replaced with AI so the turn-around is faster but you can decide if the quality has changed.

So if you want to know what this "new event" is like just click on the summer event link and substitute names and graphics.

What you should know?

Superboards are back.  Make sure to not start one unless you have time to complete it before reset.

Calendar mechanic with keys is back.  Not all boards will have keys and in fact only about 1/5 had keys in testing.

Great Buildings Prestige postponement and FAQ

This is a copy/paste from Inno

We received numerous questions about the ongoing redesign of the recently announced Great Buildings Prestige feature. We expect the update to take at least a few months due to its technical and design complexity, as well as other topics needing urgent action.

While we cannot reveal the details of the design or the exact release date because it's still a work in progress, we can share some of the thought process behind our decisions.

This FAQ is heavily condensed. If you don't see an answer to your specific question, it's likely because the answer is yet to be determined by our team, or that it was already shared in our previous communication.

The information here concerns the state of the Great Buildings feature only on the Beta server after the update on March 9th, 2026. If you play on Live servers, none of the following applies to your game.

1. What was the reason behind increased Forge Point costs of the Great Buildings level-up?

In a competitive game like Forge, it’s impossible to completely avoid power creep, so our strategy is to work with it. The balancing (bonus to cost ratio) we released for Prestige on Beta is based on the estimated power creep we expect in the next few years. As the players’ power continued to grow, these costs would become increasingly more accessible over time, despite seeming completely unreachable in the current state of the game economy.

That said, we understand how frustrating it may feel as a player, so we are looking for a compromise that would make Great Buildings resistant to power creep for longer while still being accessible right after release. We expect the costs after redesign to still be higher than on Live, but without feeling as unattainable as they do right now.

2. What was the reason behind the increased Goods costs for building and Blueprint refinement?

Similar to the Forge Points costs, the Goods costs also account for the future economy that will be affected by power creep — Goods included. Costs for Blueprint refinement also exist to keep the feature relevant for longer and add an extra level of challenge, as opposed to players immediately burning through the newly added levels.

While we agree there's a need to make low Era Goods easier to get, we also consider this aspect to be an added challenge in this feature. As mentioned, Prestige levels were never intended to be achieved immediately, but rather over a longer time period, requiring an investment that needs time to be built. As a rule, if a resource becomes more relevant than before, it will take time for it to gradually become more available throughout the game, as this requires integrating new mechanics and reward structures into more features.

3. Will Great Buildings receive unique bonuses in the redesigned update?

New building effects are generally a focus topic in the game team, so the discussion about them is always ongoing. We continue testing ideas for new GB effects, and this process is more complex than it might seem from the outside. At the moment, it is still to early to say if any of them will survive the prototyping stage, so we consider different scenarios for the redesign.

4. Will the new migration be the same as on Beta?

Our primary goal with migration is minimizing the loss of resources and effort players have invested into the feature before the update. We hear your concerns about the migration conducted on Beta and are looking for ways to address them before the Live release, so you can expect the migration to be different in the final design.

Migration is closely connected to the feature design itself, so both are yet to be determined. Here we're looking to achieve the least disruptive compromise between different player states in this feature.

5. We have received a small portion of the Great Buildings with Tiers. Do you plan to update all of them?

While we are saying “yes” here, we want to make it extensively clear that this stage is planned for after the current update is concluded and, most importantly, settled on both Beta and Live, which may require additional releases. When and where (i.e. via which features, e.g. a new Era) we will add new Tiers will become clear over time.

City Planning for Diamond Worlds

We're going to have to define this a bit because "diamond world" means different things to different people.  So broad strokes...

Developing diamond world/alt fight city

  • Make a second city.
  • Build and play like you would a main city.
  • Complete 80 encounters in GE every week at a minimum of trial 6 or higher.
  • Play any event that gives wishing wells (WW's, or fragments or shrink kits).
  • Advance ages as each new age gives more city space.
  • Hoard wishing wells and fountain of youths.
  • Once you are strong enough to complete GE at trial 55 you can start putting WW's and FoY's in main city.
  • The rationale for this is completing GE at trial 55 gives you the most FoY, fragments and shrink kits and you need a lot.
  • QI doesn't give diamonds but it does give buildings that make GE trial 55 easier.
  • GbG does give diamonds and playing it is worth it.
  • Once you reach the last age you ever want to go to and you're done moving forward on the continent map then transition main city into a diamond world.  You know how much space you have and how many WW and FoY you have in inventory.  If you can fill the space then make it a passive diamond world.
Edit:  Trial 26 gives the same 70 fragments of FoY shrink kits as trial 55.  Thank you to the anonymous commenter for the correction.

Passive diamond world

  • hit BG and use FoE helper to see which WW/FoY give diamonds.  Use charges on those then collect all.
  • If you still have room for more FoY or WW then continue playing GE.  80 encounters takes almost no time and you can still generate FoY if you converted your city too soon or if you aged-up and have more space.
What GB's to have and why?

You need GE boosts to complete trial 55.  Condensing those fight boosts into a few GB's instead of a lot of event buildings gives you more space for diamond making building so GB's that boost GE fight stats are good.  GB's like Zeus and Alcatraz that multiply boosts are NOT good.

Blue Galaxy is a must-have for any diamond world either a fighting one or passive.  With FoE helper you can see which WW or FoY gives diamonds for that collection so the ability to double it is 100% must have.  BG also gives blue defense GE and FP.  At lv 158 BG gives 15 charges at 75% chance to double that collection.  Levelling further than 158 does not change the base boost so no need to go higher than 158

Seed Vault is a must-have for diamond worlds regardless of passive or fight city.  At lv 201 your helping hands boost is capped at 25% but wait...there's more!
Blue defense for GE and guild goods for lv 101-300.  For lv 201-400 it gives red attack and defense which is a base value.  At lv 400 it's 3850% red attack and defense.  This will be the primary source of red attack boosts.  Level BG to 400 for diamond worlds.

Chateau Frontenac caps at lv 201 at 110% reward boost.  Once you are at your final age and have collected all the recurring quests then this is safe to delete.

If you really need red GE fight boosts then consider St Mark's Basilica.  (it's still spelled incorrectly in game.)  For diamond cities (and main cities) level 1-200 are garbage but at lv 400 it gives 20,800% red attack GE and 11,500% red defense GE.  I can't justify building or levelling this GB but if you really need those boosts they're there.  *Helpful hint you may get your red attack needs met with the next round of GB updates.

Deal Castle for people who really need GE fight boosts.  We don't recommend building this GB but if you level it to 400 you get...

  • 1,300% base blue attack and defense
  • medals
  • 7,500 % red and blue defense GE
  • 14,000 % red and blue attack GE

Temple of Relics is a must have and level to 200 where the relic hunt caps at 35%.  When you no longer do any GE then it's safe to delete this GB.

What about SC and HC they have a chance to give diamonds?  Yes and if you have spare FP after you've levelled the recommended GB's then sure build a HC and hope one of the 10 charges at level 201 give a diamond return.  If you have the patience to do negotiations then build a SC too but I can't recommend either of them.  The once a year or once every two years it hits with diamond just isn't worth it.

What about running the Arctic Harbor or Oceanic Terminal?  If you're camped in one of those ages and have a surplus of goods you can run them every day and there's a tiny chance of getting 50 diamonds.  But if you're in one of those ages you're better off donating those goods to your guild if you're in one.  Why?

Now what is missing from this list?  Arc, Obs, AI Core, holly trinity etc.  Once you transition from fighting city to passive collection then these buildings are not needed.  Sacrilege I know but passive cities don't care about anything other than diamonds.  FP's and goods don't matter.  Be a good guild mate and level small player's guild goods buildings and donate goods to treasury.

If you're going to be in a guild and remove your Arc, obs etc then just routinely donate the goods you get from WW's and FoY to your guild.
