This event should be familiar with most FoE players so if you want to skip to the prizes. This is the famous "shuffle board" mechanic which makes this more luck than skill but not entirely. Battleground Trials coming to Beta on July 10, 2025

Embargo until July 7, 2025 People already know how the trials work in GE so this should not be that much of a learning gap for the transition to GbG. How it works is pretty simple. The player choses the GbG trial difficulty level every day. The following is from testing and may change before Beta. You first select a trial level. So when GbG starts you will have to pick a trial level. You can then change that level anytime but the change won't take affect until after server reset. So you cannot for example pick trial 3 then go to trial 1 when your attrition become onerous. Trial level determines the following about the enemy: their flat boost (red and blue attack and defense). Embargo until June 16, 2025 There are massive adjustments made during the event on Beta and there are planned changes for live server as well. Please use the live server version of this event page and not this beta version. Note: The final stats of both Eco Hub upgrades may change when it hits Beta. From what we're hearing they may add back the FP and goods that were taken away. We will update when the event comes online. New GbG rewards and what you can expect.

This is the gold/platinum item store This is the silver item store So for people playing on live server you should keep in mind two things. On Beta GbG is different. We have double the attrition for double the rewards. So if you do 10k fights on live server you can expect 5k when live server changes over to this new system. Now with the new trial system it has changed again. What we've done is test the hardest (most rewarding) trial to see what we could reasonably expect over a 10 day GbG period. Here are the numbers for a 10k fighter on live server/5k fighter on Beta on the hardest level. Silver 175,556 Gold 7,083 Platinum 2,917 Now keep in mind this can all change and I fully expect this to change but we can only deal with what's here now. And what's here now is pathetic. While it's nice to have the opportunity to get the missing fragments one needs to complete buildings in inventory there is no way to see this as anything other than a diamond nerf....

Sortable spreadsheet with all event buildings including the Winter Event 2024 and Wildlife Event 2025

Link for spreadsheet Changes for this version is the inclusion of Winter Event 2024 and the buildings currently in Beta for the Wildlife Event 2025 We've also added a column for Historic Allies. Right now it's just a "y" for yes it houses a historical ally. It's a placeholder for people to quickly find the buildings that house a historical ally. We're thinking of just averaging out the bonus stats for allies and adding that to the building that stores them as that's the point of those buildings. Right now the value has not been changed to include the ally bonus but future spreadsheets will include that. We've also reduced the "value" of goods to a ratio of 10:1 of goods:FP. The reason for this is the introduction of event buildings that produce 100's of goods so they're no longer scarce even in SAT or SASH ages.

GbG Trials getting diamonds is going to be a challenge

This is the GbG store for platinum coins. As you can see the diamonds can be purchased with platinum coins. Maximum is 1000 diamonds per 70 days? This has to be a mistake as we were told they would refresh more frequently than that. So let us be very clear. In diamond league you have a 48% chance to win loot after a fight. You have a 1% chance that the loot will be 45 diamonds. So let's make the math simple. If you do 200 fights you can expect to win 45 diamonds on average. If you do 1k fights/day you can expect 225 diamonds. In one season with 10k fights it would be reasonable to expect about 2,225 diamonds. Now let's assume the image above is not correct and it will refresh every 14 days instead of 70 days. That's still a hard cap of 1000 diamonds or significantly less than half of one GbG season. So even if they were super generous with platinum coins (yeah right) this can only be seen as a diamond nerf. Th...

Troops value is now number of troops (of any age) divided by tiles including roads and further divided by 10. There are two reasons for this. The first is we now have a lot of buildings providing troops so we’re simply getting more of them. The second is with the new GbG changes players will have half the fights they had previously thus lowering the demand for troops. QI new age in development

Are you getting bored of QI? Things getting too easy? Are you able to auto-battle map 12 without putting any decorations in your settlement? Well some good and bad news is on the way. There's a new middle-ages QI in development. As you know there are three middle-ages in the game (early, high and late) and this QI may not limit it's assets to just one of those ages. They're playing around with the settlement and nothing is off the table including having euphoria from roads or not needing roads at all. What if non-optimal military buildings give euphoria while optimal buildings cost euphoria? What if the fog of war returns on the map? What if we have multiple branching paths and some are blocked by impediments? Right now we have maximized efficiency for QI.
