Fellowship Event 2025 for Beta Server

Embargo post until Aug 22, 205

Edit Sept 5, 2025

Balancing changes for this event are detailed here.

https://forgeaddicts.blogspot.com/2025/09/fellowship-event-currently-on-beta.html

Event runs from Aug 25 to September 15, 2025 on Beta server.

The St. Patrick's day event mechanic is back.

This event should be familiar to all FoE players unless they are very new so we won't spend a lot of time on the mechanics.

There are some changes and the first change is the task window.

The task and the completion reward is now displayed.

The names have changed so instead of festival, shipyard, hats, flowers, cake, drinks and fireworks we have...

  • Banquet Hall
  • carriage
  • spices emporium
  • juice emporium
  • farm
  • bakehouse
  • gourmet butchery

You open these "shops" and hire overseers using "gemstones" which is the event currency.

The goal is to avoid creating a bottleneck so be careful when piking what level of overseer you use.

Boosters:

  • king's chronometer - fast forward production by two hours
  • royal seal of advancement - upgrade overseers without spending gemstones
  • monarch's edict of provisions - discount of number of feast provisions required to progress to the next banquet.  (Can only use one per banquet)

When you complete tasks you get an instant reward and progress toward the grand prize.  25 tasks completion grants one prize on the grand prize lane.

You do not have to complete all tasks and you should not complete all tasks if you wish to play efficiently.  The goal is to complete enough to advance the grand prize lane while boosting the town so it generates enough feast provisions to move to the next town (next banquet).

The first town (banquet) is a tutorial and only needs 1 million feast provisions to move to the next banquet.  All other banquets require 8.4 quadrillion.

When you select the option to move to the next banquet you will see six reward chests.

The first chest is free to open and you'll need to spend gemstones to open more.  If you select open all you will get a discount.

If you do open all chests you will get a bonus prize.

The event shop is back.

The currency is "sacred seals"

For the people not familiar with the mechanics it's pretty simple to play but complicated to explain.
There are three towns/banquets/variants.  They cycle so once you complete town 1 and go to the next one it's town 2.  Once that's completed you go to town 3.  Once that's completed you go back to town 1.

The very first town you play is different as it's a tutorial.  From then on it's very formulaic.

What you dear reader have to decide is which strategy you will choose and then stick with it.

1) Push the prize line and try to get into gold league/spend diamonds
2) Don't spend diamonds but go for prize line/main event building
3) Lazy don't give a crap about the prize line but want the prize you get when you open all boxes between towns.

Regardless of which strategy you pick how you do the first tutorial town will be the same.  And even if you don't care about the main event prize because it's not very good you might want to try to get to 450 of the prize line.

The next platinum Fiore upgrade is at 800
*Note: Expect the prize line to change from Beta to live server

Tutorial Town:
Complete 15 tasks before moving to variant two.
It only takes about 20 minutes to go from 11 to 15 tasks so stacking those extra quest completions will help you get farther down the prize line.

Once you build a bakehouse the next quest is hire a lv2 baker which we won't do and just move past the tutorial and into town/banquet/variant two.

Now let's deal with the above strategies for regular (non-tutorial) towns.

Let's start with strategy 3 the lazy super-easy method that is diamond city friendly.
Only hire lv1 overseer for a total cost of 190 currency.

Lazy Town guide for all towns unless stated otherwise
spice 25
banquet carriage 10
juice 5
banquet carriage 25

banquet carriage 250
***Town 1 take juice to 50 and spice to 100
***Town 3 take juice to 50
butchery 25
banquet carriage 300
butchery 50

Using this method you will complete 15 tasks on town one, 8 tasks on town two and 14 tasks on town 3
So that's 37 tasks for three towns including the tutorial and the same moving forward.  That means you will probably top-out at 185 on the prize line but will still get the silver fiore upgrade.  You will not have enough currency to buy-all boxes after every town is completed.  This is the lazy method after-all.  You don't have to complete a town every two days.  Just make sure you use all your currency on boxes.

This is town 2 on the lazy strategy

You'll notice that there are two buildings yet to be built and I'm out of tasks.  You do not have to babysit these lazy towns.

You should however complete the event quests.  It should only take an hour or so to complete all the rush quests then just do the daily quests the lazy way!

The milestone rewards are worth doing the quests.

Strategy two advancing the prize line but not using diamonds to buy additional event currency.

When you move to the next town this screen appears.

For the tutorial town it only costs 1M provisions.  You can also see here there's a box to the left to use a booster to reduce the price.

You get one free chest and can spend currency to open more.  Don't open individual boxes until the event is about to end and you need to spend currency before it goes away.  Either just use the free box and move to the next town or open-all for a discount.

By opening all you get the special prize

The seals are used in the event shop as special event currency.  Then there are also trash prizes along with the seals.  That's why we advocate to either only open the free box or open all.
Once you take your free box it looks like this

So it takes 1400 gems (event currency) to open all boxes.

Now you can buy more boxes or move to the next town.  Do not buy the higher price boxes.  The skill aspect of this event is balancing your need to buy overseers and the ability to buy boxes.  If going for gold or trying to push the prize line then you may only buy boxes on the last day just to use up currency.  If playing the lazy method you time town completions to match your ability to buy all boxes.

Strategy 1 push prize line and go for gold league.
This is a big spender event and frankly the prizes are not worth the investment.  However if you insist on spending diamonds you can set-up the following overseers:

Town one:
Banquet 4
Carriage 4
spice 2
juice 2
farm 2
bakery 2
butchery 2

Town two:
Banquet 4
Carriage 4
spice 1

Town three:

Carriage 4
spice 1

Fall event on Beta has been rebalanced with changes to the event buildings.

The Fall Event to be blunt kind of sucked in regards to the event buildings.  In fact it sucked so much none of us are playing it.  Beta is just for testing so it's no real loss but FoE has heard the feedback and have made changes.

Click here for the Fall Event on Beta.  All the changes have been added beside the original values.

Click here for the updated Master Spreadsheet

The conclusion after the changes are...

  1. red QI fighters should target a couple of Azalea Arbor so they can ascend it
  2. blue QI fighters should target a couple of Amberbill Ponds so they can ascend it
  3. the non-ascended versions have roughly the same value as royal carriage so it's not a waste of space but advanced cities will only want the ascended version
  4. the gold league prize is now good and worth chasing
  5. the 8th level of Eternal Market is good
  6. the Cider Mill is a trap.  The 11th level is good but people will be chasing upgrades and fall short.  The Cider Mill came out in 2017 and the 6th level was introduced in 2019 and to be honest it wasn't good even back then.  I suspect most players either didn't keep their cider mills in inventory or just deleted them.  I believe they were around prior to AD so more likely to delete than sell or store.  So players that have the lv6 in inventory may be able to get the next 5 levels but even that will be hard without the gold pass.  Even with a gold pass it will be a challenge to get the lv 11 supreme cider mill.  If you get it great, it's worth placing in the most advanced cities.  But we cannot recommend chasing this item.
  7. the main event building the Breezemill Estate is odd as it provides large fight boosts but only in very specific areas.  Red GE attack and blue GbG defense.  Without the FP and goods increase it would be hard to justify placing this building in an advanced city.  Now it's good but player will need to keep an eye in future events for buildings that provide boosts in the area that this does not.
  8. the breezemill estate is also a chain building so some players will put a bunch of sternbergia patches on it and use blue galaxy to load up on FP.  That will be a mistake as the per square value of all the chains are not worth placing in almost any city.  Even below average cities could better use that space so don't build chains.

Care For Tomorrow Event, Live server July 29, 2025

Care for Tomorrow Event

There are massive adjustments made during the event on Beta and there are planned changes for live server as well.  Please use the live server version of this event page and not this beta version.

If you're curios about what this event looked like on beta and what all the changes were you can click here to read all about it.

This event has the combining mechanic and world challenge we are all familiar with.

For those not familiar the TLDR is this.  As you progress you get individual rewards and global rewards.  The global rewards are based on server progress so if you're on a dead server then you won't get much.  If you're on a newer or more active server you can expect maximum rewards.  The global rewards are based on the server reaching milestones and only those who have contributed to those milestones can claim rewards so playing daily is key here.

Individual rewards are won when you as a player reach certain milestones.

Like all previous Care events your individual progress is capped at 15 meaning you have to claim those rewards before continuing the event.  If you decide to continue without claiming the rewards all further progress is lost.  There should be a pop-up to tell you to claim your reward so don't ignore it.

Note:  On beta PC players had to refresh their screen to get the option of claiming the server reward resulting in many players not getting it and just advancing the personal rewards.  Don't do that.

The event mechanic is the combination/merge mechanic that we should all know by now.

Event currency is workers.

Spawning new pieces consumes workers.

Spawn new pieces to unlock pieces behind glass.

Match/merge pieces of the same type and level to level them up.

Collecting key parts and assemble keys to open chests.  Remember the first chest opened after server reset is double rewards so make sure to prime the best chest to maximize that double reward.

The boosters for this event can be obtained in the rival challenges.

Boosters:

Cell multiplier spawns free pieces

cell divider splits one piece into two identical lower level pieces

rainbow essence will transform pieces into generic colors that can be matched with any piece of that level

There will be 19 rival challenges of four quests each.  Just make sure to not play a board until the rival challenge is up that day but do play every day to at least get the double reward chest.

Eco Tokens will be introduced.  You obtain them by completing world challenge tasks.  You can then exchange the eco tokens for items in the store.

This special currency expires a few days after the event is over so you have time to decide what you want to spend it on.

Leagues are back as per normal

People on less active servers will have a better chance of getting gold and silver league without spending diamonds.

Rewards

All the reward buildings have already been added to the master spreadsheet to make it easy to compare with each other and all existing buildings in the game.  Click HERE for the master spreadsheet.

  • 25% blue attack GbG

This event will be controversial to say the least.  So let's break it down.
The Eternal Market Cyber Horizon upgrade is awesome and should be attainable for players that play daily for free (not spend diamond).

I don't like that you only get 100 of the 1000 fragments needed from the questline.  I can remember when completing quests were the main part of an event.  Now it's just something you do to get event currency.

Player should be playing daily to maximize board efficiency and get double chest rewards every day.  Set a daily budget and don't chase the rival rewards if it will cost you a lot of event currency.

For blue QI fighters the ascended terra tea lounge is interesting as it gives blue fight boost and 4% coin and supply boost.

And that brings us to the last thing worth talking about in this event.  The platinum upgrade is worth chasing if you have eco sanctums in your city.

Strategy

If you read this site regularly you'll know that for the most part we don't include the rival quests but we will for this event.  The reason is you should only be playing the boards to satisfy the rival quests.
So to put it simply the rival quests are very demanding in regards to freeing locked gems.  Rival 19 for example requires you to free 45 gems.
So when the event starts plan on playing two boards and spawning 8 gems each.  Do not try to complete the boards.  The board completion rewards are garbage.  Conserve currency because you'll need it for rivals.
You can have a board open at system reset.  It's not a problem and it's to your advantage.  So the days before the rivals start you do 2 boards and spawn 8 pieces each.  You get one free reset a day and it costs 40 people (event currency) to reset the board.  So you can reset the board and not play any pieces until the rivals start the next day.  Then use the free reset.  Then pay 40 to reset again.  So depending on where you are with the rivals you can get three relatively cheap boards.

For diamond farm players your strategy is different.  You want to complete the boards and get the completed board prize.  Wishing well is one of the possible prizes for completing a board.  So your strategy is to just use currency until the board is clear.

Rival Quests

We'll give you the first two rivals to show how they'll work for this event but it's pretty easy and formulaic.
1) free 1 piece
2) do some task that cannot be prepared in advance
3) production of some kind that can be prepared in advance
4) free more pieces

So we'll just focus on the things that can be prepped in advance.  These rivals will require you to have a goods building that can do 4hr productions of any age and 8hr productions of your age.  Space age players can use the colony for 8hrs and bronze age goods building for the 4hr.

Rival 1

Fall Event on Beta July 21, 2025 to August 11, 2025

Embargo until July 20

Ok Embargo lifted early!

July 28, 2005 Edit:
Based on feedback that the prizes in this event were such trash that players were not bothering to even play the event FoE has decided to make the prizes "more attractive".  We will keep the original post as-is and just show the changes for the prizes in red.  For live server we'll just show the updated stats and not the changes.

Master Spreadsheet has been updated with the changes

The Fall Event is coming to Beta and there are some twists and changes so stick around to the end as it may change how you play.

Let's start with the Candy Crush mechanic.
Unless you're a brand new player you know this mechanic so there's no point in going over it in detail.
There are two targets on the board.  Jars and Cups.  Cups give you progress on the prize line and jars give you rewards.

Now instead of a daily prize you get this
The item store will be part of every event moving forward so it's best we just get used to it.  Making a jar by matching five or more tiles gives you a reward.  The more tiles the better the reward but remember you have to drop the jars and cups down for them to count.

Jars will give mostly useless prizes but also "Mason Marks" which is the item store special currency for this event.  You can then go to the item store and use your accumulated currency on a prize you want.  Whether or not this is a good change will depend on the balancing meaning how much does it cost to get the good thing you want.  In our view we like the item store currency for events because it allows us to just save for a good thing instead of getting a lot of garbage prizes.

This next part is from testing so may change for Beta server:
You start the game with four wooden spoons and you regenerate another every 10hrs (may switch to 8) as long as there is an open slot in the spoon bar.  Once you accumulate four spoons it will no longer accumulate so best to never have that bar full.

You can use 1, 2, or 3 spoons at once.  Now they are saying......

"Multi-Spoon Selection (New Feature)
Before starting, you can choose to spend 1, 2, or 3 Wooden Spoons:
1 Spoon – Standard rewards.
2 Spoons – 2× Grand Prize progress, League Points, and Reward Jar contents.
3 Spoons – 3× progress and rewards.
Note: If you use 2 or 3 spoons, booster and extra move costs also scale accordingly.
Consider using 2 or 3 Spoons per level if you want faster Grand Prize or League progress
Please note that both Wooden and Golden Spoons can be multiplied for bigger impact!"

But that was not our experience in testing.  Using 2 or 3 spoons at once did give 2x or 3x the progress and that makes sense as we were using 2 or 3 spoons.  The way it's worded it seems you will get more progress by using this method or we'll get to milestones faster.  In reality all that happened was we saved time playing boards.  If we played a 3x board it gave us 3x progress and used 3 spoons.  There's no gameplay advantage other than saving time.  You should also know that boosters and moves scale as well so if playing a 3 spoon board and you want to use a fork to remove a single tile it will cost 3 forks.

Yes you can use 3 golden spoons at once as a time-saver.

Speaking of boosters:
Fork - removes one tile
spatula - removes a row
rolling pin - removes a column

Golden Spoon is back and it gives you 5 minutes of unlimited boards.  Remember to always end up with a new board before time runs out.

There is a bit of a twist with rival challenges this time around.  It seems more forgiving.
There are 16 daily rival challenges.  Try to time your daily use of spoons to coincide with the challenge as it will be very demanding of that event currency.
The twist is if you miss a day you can do two the next day.  The rivals were not part of the testing so we don't know if you can stack all 16 or if there's a cap of 2.

Main Event Prize:
Breezemill Homestead 9 levels makes a silver upgrade (Breezemill Acres) which then makes a golden upgrade (Breezemill Estate).  Since anyone with a lv9 will eventually get the golden version we'll just focus on that.

Ok here we go let's talk about the Cider Mill.
Originally released in 2016 as a 2x3 production building
In 2017 Fall event it could be upgraded up to five times with a Cider Mill Upgrade Kit.

lv 1 Cider Mill
lv 2 Blooming Cider Mill
lv 3 Fruitful Cider Mill
lv 4 Bountiful Cider Mill
lv 5 Prosperous Cider Mill
lv 6 Flourishing Cider Mill with the 2019 Fall event

The lv 6 version grew to 3x7 and required road.  While it was a production building it only made supplies for the 5 min production so it was useless for completing quests and using a hurry supply boost.
Well now we have five more upgrades available and the building shrinks as you upgrade it until it eventually goes back to 3x2, still requiring a street but all the productions are supplies so it can be useful to complete quests.  And most importantly it gives fight boosts and a QI boost.

lv 7 Vintage Cider Mill 3x6
lv 8 Heritage Cider Mill 3x5
lv9 Noble Cider Mill 3x4
lv 10 Regal Cider Mill 3x3

and

Supreme Cider Mill

  • lv 11
  • 3x2 requires road
  • all 6 productions are supplies so it can be rushed with hurry supply
  • costs 40 - 2,510 population
  • 25 % red attack
  • 33 - 75 % red and blue attack and defense GE
  • +2,000 Quantum Actions Capacity
The QA capacity boost has been coming for a while and it's finally here.  For people that have a lot of villas in their settlement and their QA bar fills up in 6 hrs it will increase the capacity to store more actions but does not give any more QA.  So if you are on often enough or do not have the housing where this would be useful keep that in mind.

The upgrades to the Cider Mill are only available in the silver and gold event pass and the item store.  Frankly this seems like a waste of Mason Marks.

Keep in mind you have a few days after the event ends to use those Mason Marks so don't panic as the event runs out.

Eternal Market - Red Horizon

  • lv 8
  • 6x6 no road required
  • 180 % blue attack and defense GbG
  • 212 % red and blue attack and defense
  • 180 % red and blue attack and defense GE
  • 20% red and blue attack and defense QI
  • 4,010 - 266,930 population
  • 504 FP
  • 570 goods
  • 570 goods of previous age
1100 fragments total available
800 grand prize lane
150 questline
150 leagues

Historic Allies
-both should be able to be obtained from grand prize lane and not dependent on rival quests

Bayinnaung
  • Lv 1 rare
  • 25 % red attack
  • 25 % red attack GbG
  • 25 % red attack and defense GE

Queen Wisutthithewi
Lv 1
25 % blue attack
25 % blue attack GbG
25 % blue attack and defense GE

Summary:

So that's the event.  The only thing worth chasing in this event in my view is the Eternal Market fragments.
The main event prize isn't very good unless a player is just starting out so everything is good or they have wildly unbalanced fight boosts and these niche boosts will balance them out.
The chain buildings aren't very good for the same reasons.

The Azalea Arbor (red QI) and Amberbill Pond (blue QI) in their ascended forms are useful but not a must-have worth chasing.

The Cider Mill upgrades are a complete waste of currency in the item store.

The gold league 1% prize is massively disappointing.  Even in just the QI boosts we've gone from a standard 50% red and blue attack and defense QI bonus to 25 % in the last event to 20 % now.  This one doesn't even have a base fight boost only GE and GbG.

I asked the other three people who contribute to this site if they will be playing the fall event if it remains as is I got two "no" and a "meh".  I'm in the no category.  If that remains the case then we will not be posting quests as we normally do.  It's just not worth playing if you have an advanced city.

For those who do intend to play I will give some advice..

When a rival starts make sure you have spoons stacked up so you don't have to buy spoons.  By stacked up I mean this.

1) time your spoon bar to fill to four as the rival starts
2) already have a board open but no moves played that gives you five complete boards if you need them
3) if a quest rewards you with spoons don't collect on that until you need it.  Rush and daily quests can all be completed in just a few hours on the last day if you want so progressing slowly doesn't hurt you.

other hints
 4) To tag along to #3 do not rush the rush quests and daily quests just bank them
5) make sure you play everyday so your spoon bar does not fill-up and you collect your daily free currency
6) plan moves in advance.  Don't just make jars without a plan to bring them down
7) if you are making move on the board to satisfy quests do not use 2x or 3x spoons at a time.  Only use that when rival is done and you need to burn spoons before the next rival
8) if you're going for gold league just focus on cups not jars.
9) if you're after eternal market fragments also just focus on cups
10) the balancing we see on Beta may be a lot different when it comes to live server.  We were told balancing is expected to be easier for live server compared to what beta will be testing out.  It seems they want to make sure they're not too generous with event currency so they're trying to see what the minimum threshold should be.  Normally they're more generous on beta and it's down tuned for live server so this is a change.

Good luck and may the Forge be with you!

New GbG rewards and what you can expect.

This is the gold/platinum item store

This is the silver item store

So for people playing on live server you should keep in mind two things.  On Beta GbG is different.  We have double the attrition for double the rewards.  So if you do 10k fights on live server you can expect 5k when live server changes over to this new system.

Now with the new trial system it has changed again.

What we've done is test the hardest (most rewarding) trial to see what we could reasonably expect over a 10 day GbG period.

Here are the numbers for a 10k fighter on live server/5k fighter on Beta on the hardest level.

Silver 175,556

Gold 7,083

Platinum 2,917

Now keep in mind this can all change and I fully expect this to change but we can only deal with what's here now.  And what's here now is pathetic.  While it's nice to have the opportunity to get the missing fragments one needs to complete buildings in inventory there is no way to see this as anything other than a diamond nerf.

They simply do not want you to have access to diamonds earned in-game.  They only want you to buy them from cash shop.

GbG is going to die from Inno's greed.
